TURBO launches WAREHOUSE SERIES with London’s RANDOMER.
In a few short years, Randomer has developed a dedicated cult following, with exceptional releases on some of the UK’s most respected underground labels – Hessle, Numbers, and Hemlock. Having recently branched out with his own white-label imprint, the North London producer now looks to conquer the rest of the world with this release on Tiga’s emergent techno powerhouse, Turbo Recordings.
RUFFA and NO HOOK are aptly titled, built on clanging, banging, metallic, distorted drums that pack a heavy punch. RUFFA has a distinctly electro feel, centred on a catchy, syncopated synth riff, while NO HOOK relies on only the most basic and brutal elements, with just a single distorted tom rising above the hardcore drum beatdown.
Turbo A&Rs called in their heaviest up-and-coming producer in London’s J. Tijn, poised to break through with a pair of recent releases on Hemlock’s new sub-label Pennyroyal.
This is futuristic techno at its ruffest and tuffest, uniting kingdoms and birthing dynasties.
