Tiga
Label boss TIGA delivers the 15th episode in our Radio Turbo series this week, dropping an exclusive live recording from his recent performance at Piknic Electronik Melbourne. The mix drops ahead of his return to Turbo with a brand new EP this March in collaboration with fellow Montrealer Clarian. The three track ‘Stay Cool’ release is forthcoming on vinyl 12″ and on digital (March 16th). More
The product of a songwriting duo in the rich tradition of Tiga/Hulkkonen and Tiga/McCartney, “Stay Cool” marks a return of sorts to the classic Tiga sound, which is now the modern Tiga & Clarian sound. The kinda-underground acid techno grooves and magnanimously biting lyrics paint a picture so contemporary it threatens to make you live in the moment for the rest of your life. More
Turbo Recordings is proud to present the kind of remix pack we’ve heard you talk about in your sleep, featuring a banging techno remix from masked man/presumed German Redshape, a 10-minute minimal epic from “techno gastronomist” Dubfire, an electro-funk jam from veteran Clone machinist Dexter, and two mixes (one vinyl, one digital) from rising Turbo star ANNA that will enrich the lives of completists everywhere. Tiga and 2manydjs lock arms and join forces on the exclusive DeeWee Mix of “3 Rules”, giving new meaning to the term “stripped-down” beyond the usual “more boring.”
“We just kept strippin’ it down until it was reduced to a pure energetic essence that only I could hear,” says Tiga. “I eventually agreed to add ‘music’ back into the mix so everyone could enjoy it as much as I did. And that to me is what music is all about: giving people something they can hear.” More

The latest single taken from No Fantasy Required, “Blondes Have More Fun” exemplifies Tiga’s knack for deceptively deep songwriting and lush production. It is accompanied by a trio of remixers from contemporary electronica royalty: prolific Swedish producer on-the-rise Jonas Rathsman, Running Back boss Gerd Janson, and international house and techno breakout du jour, The Black Madonna.
